Privacy

Marcus Ribeiro is responsible for the personal information described here. This site collects only what is needed to send requested emails, respond to commercial inquiries and understand basic website use.

Newsletter signups

If you subscribe, Kit processes your email address and any optional information you provide. It is used with your consent to send Marcus's writing and related updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

Commercial inquiries

If you submit an inquiry, Tally processes the information you provide so Marcus can assess your request, reply and take steps towards a possible working relationship. A commercial inquiry does not automatically add you to the newsletter. The form includes a separate, unchecked newsletter choice.

Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views and site performance. Cloudflare describes this service as privacy-first and says it does not collect or use visitors' personal data.

Who receives information

Kit, Tally and Cloudflare process information under their own privacy terms. Their services may process data outside the UK using the safeguards described in their terms. Information may also be kept where reasonably required for accounting, legal or contractual records. No advertising pixels are intentionally installed on this site.

How long information is kept

Newsletter information is kept until you unsubscribe or it is no longer needed. Inquiry information is kept only as long as it remains useful for the conversation, record-keeping or any resulting working relationship.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of information you provided. You can unsubscribe through any email. For a request or question, email marcuslayerx@gmail.com. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
